We can transform your living space into something your proud of. A house isn’t a home until you put some love into it, and we do exactly that.
Reclaimed junk wood into inspiring pieces of furniture is what we do. Explore unlimited possibilities when you bring imagination and skill into a world where nature’s perfect creations are considered trash.
Our care and love for the Earth shines through in all that we do. We advocate for being outside as much as possible and we hope to inspire you to do the same. We are happy to create beautiful pieces and put together lovely spaces so that you have even more reason to enjoy the fresh air.
We come from the alps of Austria, long ago, where we once were stewards of the Hazelnut, hence the name. Today, we are local to the great plains of Saskatchewan, where we are stewards of the big blue sky and all that lies beneath. We are stewards of the land and we speak to the trees and the wood, they tell us their story, and how they want it to be told.. Our aim is to narrate a story in which the natural world brings you inspiration, like it does for us.
Each project is a journey from the past to the present, with you at the helm. If you're inspired by our work and have a vision for your own space, let's connect. Together, we can create something truly special—a piece that not only enhances your home but also carries forward the legacy of the wood itself.
We're excited to hear about your ideas and to help you bring them to life. Whether you're dreaming of a custom piece that tells a story, have questions about our process, or simply want to explore the possibilities of reclaimed wood, we're here for you.
Our family hired Daemond to build some furniture for our guest room. He used reclaimed oak & maple to build a bed frame, bedside table and coffee table. Everything matches and fits the space very well. We will be hiring him to build us more furniture. He is a creative young man with a bright future!

Daemond made a beautiful cutting board for my new place in Florida . Hauled it all the way in my suitcase. Now it sits on my island like a piece of art - used daily. Beautiful 😍
